This course builds on the limited experience of the trainees in engineering drawing, and prepares them to read and produce drawings in various projections.
At the end of the course, the participants will be able to;
- Understand Multi-view sketches and isometric sketches.
- Learn preferred dimensioning practices.
- Draw orthographic projections in third and first angle.
- Draw partial views, removed views, machine holes.
- Draw fillets, rounds and run-outs, cylindrical intersections.
- Draw Sectional views.
- Read the drawing.
- Multi-view sketches; isometric sketches.
- Preferred dimensioning practices.
- Orthographic projections; third and first angle projections.
- Clarity in orthographic projections; partial views, removed views, machine holes.
- Fillets, Rounds and run-outs, cylindrical intersections.
- Sectioning; cutting planes, hatching and types of sections.
- Sectional views (full and half sections).
- This course is based on practical exercises.
- Operators, Technicians and Supervisors who have completed Basic Engineering Drawing course
