This course builds on the trainee’s previous experience in engineering drawing. It prepares them to read and produce various pictorial drawing, graphic drawings, piping drawings, and drawings for hydraulic systems.
At the end of the course, the participants will be able to;
- Understand pictorial drawing, isometric and oblique views.
- Read and produce graphic diagrams; equipment symbols, instrument symbols, block diagrams, process flow schemes, P&IP.
- Read fluid flow diagrams, hydraulic symbols, oil flow diagrams.
- Read and understand welding symbols; ISO standards, fillet welds, groove weld.
- Read and understand piping, pipe joints and fittings.
- Read and understand electrical drawing, block diagram, schematic diagram and connection diagram.
- Pictorial drawing; isometric and oblique views, four-center ellipse.
- Graphic diagrams; equipment symbols, instrument symbols, block diagrams, process flow schemes, P&IP.
- Fluid flow diagrams; reading hydraulic symbols, read oil flow diagrams.
- Welding symbols; ISO standards, fillet welds, groove weld.
- Piping; pipe joints and fittings.
- Electrical drawing; types, block diagram, schematic diagram, connection diagram.
- This course is based on practical exercises.
- Operators, Technicians and Supervisors who have completed Basic Engineering Drawing and Intermediate Engineering Drawing courses.
