    This course teaches you, through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, textbook exercises, and classroom labs, the skills and knowledge necessary to help prepare help prepare in Managing and Maintaining a Network Operating Systems by using a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Environments.
    This course is intended for participant who wants to learn how to install, configure, administer, and support the primary services in the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008 operating system, as well as for those individuals seeking Network Engineering. The course begins by examining basic system administration procedures. Subsequent course contents are devoted to the creation and management of Windows Server 2003 and 2008 user, group, and computer accounts, to the sharing of system resources.

    At the end of the course, the participants will be able to;
    - Manage and Maintain Network Operating Systems by using Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Environment.
    - Install, configure, administer, and support the primary services in the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system.
    - Create and manage Windows Server 2008 user, group, and computer accounts.
    - Do sharing of system resources.

  • Course outlines:

    - Identify the key differences among the Windows Server 2008 editions and the logical components and concepts of Active Directory.
    - Install Windows Server 2008 and create a domain controller installing and configuring Active Directory (AD).
    - Install Windows Server 2008 and create a domain controller installing and configuring Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
    - Configuring Group Policy (GP).
    - Create and use MMC consoles.

    - All practical sessions will be conducted in network Operating Systems labs.

    - Should be high school graduate of science branch (minimum recommended level of education).
    - Should have basic concepts on Networking, Data Communication and OS environments
