    This is a lecture-based course to provide participants with important information on radiation sources and doses, and train them how to avoid exposure and apply protection measures at workplace.

    At the end of the course, the participants will be able to;
    - Identify major sources of natural and industrial radiation.
    - Know how to detect and measure radiation in surrounding place - Calculate exposure times and radiation doses.
    - Apply protection parameters that promotes safety when dealing with radioactive materials.
    - Acquire the skills to manage radioactive waste materials, transport radioactive materials, and store them safely.
    - Know most regulations and national standards concerns with safety and radiation protection.
