    This course is designed to provide basic knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures, priorities, timelines for tasks, cleaning of lab ware, record management, preparation of complete label for containers and preparation, standardization and dilution of solutions.

    At the end of the course, the participants will be able to;
    - Identify the purpose of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
    - Selection of the correct SOP for assigned duties.
    - Set priorities in assigned tasks.
    - Establish timelines for tasks.
    - Prepare reagents and solutions.
    - Perform routine cleaning of lab ware and restock clean, dry lab ware.
    - Prepare lists of supplies to be ordered and record materials.
    Record data generated in performance of assigned duties, file records and SOP cards and communicate with team members.
