    To acquire sufficient knowledge and skills in residential, commercial and industrial wiring. The course elaborates on wiring components, wiring tools, drawing tools, calculations related to sizes of conductors etc.

    At the end of the course, the participants will be able to;
    - Visualize & draw physical connections & physical layout of an electrical system or circuit.
    - Familiarize with international standards.
    - Understand the requirements and guidelines for safe electrical installation.

    - Introduction to Wiring.
    - Wiring examples and instructions.
    - Roles of standards and regulations.
    - Conductors and raceways.
    - Motor branch circuits.
    - Configuration and drawing of distribution system.
    - MSVISO.
    - Design and Installation of Circuits.
    - Measuring Instruments and its relation to electric installation.

  • practical aspects of the course:

    - Practical part of the course is covered through installing and operating various circuits on wall mounted large wooden boards.
    - Various modular systems like emergency alarm, burglar alarm and heating are used to provide additional hand-on- skill related to modern aspects of wiring.

  • who should attend?

    - Electrical Technicians with at least 2 years’ experience in this field, with good knowledge of basic math/physics and electronics and good communication skills in English.
