    The focus of this course is to introduce the participants to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). In particular, the course focuses on PLC hardware and its installation criteria. The course trains the participants on developing PLC programs for automated systems while shedding light on human-machine interfacing, safety, and protection. In addition, the course discusses PLC I/O, internal relays, and timers & counters.

    - Identify PLC hardware & installation criteria.
    - Develop a PLC program for an automatic control system of a medium degree of complexity.

    - Introduction to PLC and PLC hardware.
    - Input & output devices and I/O processing.
    - PLC programming and ladder logic programming.
    - PLC applications, internal relays, PLC timers, and PLC counters.
