    This course is intended to familiarize Microcontroller based systems and applications, provides necessary theoretical and practical skills needed for microcontroller programming, designing and applications. The course also covers interfacing of real world applications like LEDs, Relays, Switches, ADCs and Motors etc. using Microcontroller.

    At the end of the course, the participants will be able to;
    - Design, code, and debug assembly language programs for use in microprocessor or microcontroller applications.
    - Design microcontroller-based systems using knowledge of related hardware and software.
    - Construct, test, and evaluate microprocessor or microcontroller-based systems.

    - Review of number systems and Microcontroller architecture.
    - Assembly language programming and Interfacing devices.
    - Introduction to 8051 Microcontrollers, Microcontrollers and embedded systems overview, 8051 family.
    - 8051 Hardware connections, Pin descriptions in 8051, 8051 power on reset circuitry design, examining Intel Hex files.
