    This course discusses about the laboratory safety, good laboratory practice. The safety with reference to WHMIS is emphasized. The attendees will be able to identify the laboratory hazards and can adapt required precautions while working with flammable, toxic and corrosive materials, compressed gases, and insidious chemical substances. The electrical and fire safety emergency responses is also mentioned.
