    This course aims to deliver the basic concepts of spectroscopy. The characteristic properties of radiation, absorption and emission. The energy of transitions between molecular and atomic energy levels and how to relate it to its qualitative and quantitative analysis. The topics covered enables the attendees with a broad knowledge about the instrumentation, sample preparation, interpretation and basic trouble shooting of spectrometers.
