    The course is preliminarily indented to give an idea about Non Destructive Testing and the various testing methods.

  • course learning outcomes:

    At the end of the course, the participants will be able to;
    - Compare the destructive and non-destructive methods.
    - Understand the basics of metallurgy and modes of fabrication processes.
    - Understand the discontinuities arising from different processing like casting, forging, rolling, welding.etc
    - Understand the role of an NDT Inspector, the different Levels of certification and governing certification document of SNT-TC-1A.
    - Demonstrate all conventional methods: PT, MT, UT, RT, ET & VT.

  • Course outlines:

    - Review & Discussions.
    - Mock Up Tests, Home Works, and Examinations.
    - A final test will be conducted to assess & evaluate the performance of the participant.

  • practical aspects of the course:

    - Practical training on wide number of samples having defects to be interpreted by using each NDT method.

  • who should attend?

    Should be High School graduate of science branch (minimum recommended level of education).
    Should have industrial work experience (inspection, NDT, maintenance).
